A versatile and compact airport

Groningen Airport is the airport serving serving northern Holland and is used for both domestic and international air traffic. The airport is versatile and compact, where speed, comfort and convenience for the traveller are paramount.

The airport is centrally located in the north of the Netherlands, just off the A28 motorway between Groningen and Assen. The A7 motorway towards Heerenveen is also easily and quickly accessible. Its location therefore allows for efficient time-saving. The airport is ideal for connecting the region to the rest of the world.

Airport authority and regulations

The Airport Authority is located at the foot of the air traffic control tower and is responsible for order and safety at the airport. Landing fees may be paid here, by credit/debit card or cash. Fuel payments may be made by credit card or Shell Carnet card.
